is a Japanese adult video (AV) director and co-founder of two AV production studios. ==Life and career== Uzumaki Sasaki was born in Kyoto, Japan on March 16, 1978. Soon after graduating from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, he began working in the AV industry. After having worked under the supervision of director Temple Suwa, he made his debut as a director of adult videos in July 2003 at the V&R Planning studio with the video .〔〔〔 In August 2004, along with fellow directors Shingo Takemoto, Temple Suwa and Taro Kanbe, Sasaki helped create a new studio, V&R Products, as a subsidiary of V&R Planning. The group wanted more freedom of expression and the chance to pursue a less extreme course than the usual V&R Planning genres. V&R Products distributed its videos through the large porn conglomerate Soft On Demand (SOD)〔 and at the 4th Annual SOD Awards in 2005, Sasaki won the Best New Director Award. The next year, Sasaki received further recognition at the 2006 AV Open contest where he took the 3rd Place Award in the AV Open Challenge Stage with his video ''Tokyo Shinjuku Ward Office 24: Slut Division'' for V&R Products. In 2007 when V&R Products asked for full independence with the result that the parent company balked and removed Sasaki and the others from their positions, they went on to found a new AV company called "Rocket". Rocket was established in October 2007 and released its first set of five videos January 17, 2008. Sasaki directed two of those original five works, ''It is Nice to Meet You, We are Rocket! Rocket 20 Big Tits Ladies!'' and ''The Ultimate Invention Vol. 1 - A Door That Will Allow You to Go Anywhere''. At V&R Products and in his videos for Rocket, Sasaki has shown a light touch and has created works outside the standard "featured actress" genre popular with the larger studios. Rocket has been at the forefront of a new trend of innovative work described as "Fantasy Situation Series Adult Video" (妄想シチュエーション系ＡＶ) which uses fantasy to create erotic situations.
